Mahwah, NJ: Three-Phase Residential Landscaping Construction Project Underway
MAHWAH, NJ — Grasskeepers Landscaping recently commenced a three-phase residential landscaping construction project:
Phase One: Construction of a boulder retaining wall
Phase Two: Drainage installation
Phase Three: Construction of a new pavers patio
Phase one construction of the boulder retaining wall was recently completed. This phase was critical to prevent rain runoff from being directed at the residence. Installing the wall on a proper aggregate stone base and installing pipe, gravel and fabric behind the wall will ensure water collection and strength.
With the retaining wall complete, we now begin phase two: the drainage portion of the project. Each leader around the residence is to be buried and piped to a new 24” catch basin. A French drain with perforated pipe, gravel and fabric is also installed to catch any additional water running towards the residence as well as future runoff from the proposed patio. This ensures all water will be directed away from the residence.
After drainage installation is complete, we will begin phase three construction of the new pavers patio. Check back soon for additional progress photos and updates for this project.
